It is also important to note that any metal belongings should be clean and dried adequately as to prevent rust from occurring. If you are planning to store recreational items such as bikes, boats and cars, we recommend servicing them prior to storing them with us to ensure they are able to maintain their condition whilst not being used for a duration of time.

Protecting

Protecting your equipment is a no-brainer when it comes to increasing the longevity and lifespan of your items. When storing clothes, we recommend rolling them to prevent hard creases or making use of hangers. They should be stored in linen bags to allow them to breathe and prevent mould, otherwise be kept covered with the same material on a clothing rack. Make use of old linen or towels to cover other items such as bikes, outdoor furniture and appliances to keep them dust free.
